These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern access to and use of the Website and the purchase of Products and Services provided by SAFEBIT TECHNOLOGIES PTY LTD, trading as SAFEBIT TECHNOLOGIES (“SafeBit”, “we”, “our”, or “us”). By accessing the Website or placing an order, the Customer (“you” or “your”) agrees to be bound by these Terms.

  • online purchase of Software Licenses,
  • purchase of hardware (if applicable),
  • provision of IT-related Services.

No other terms shall apply unless expressly agreed in writing.

This Website operates in accordance with:

  • the Consumer Protection Act, 2008 (CPA),
  • the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, 2002 (ECTA),
  • the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA),
    and other applicable laws of the Republic of South Africa.

3. Eligibility

To place an order, you must:
a) be at least 18 years of age,
b) have legal capacity, and
c) provide accurate and complete information.

4. Product Information

“Products” include:

  • software licenses (“Software Licenses”),
  • cybersecurity solutions,
  • hardware devices (where applicable),
  • consultancy and services.

We reserve the right to modify product descriptions, pricing or availability without prior notice.

5. Pricing & Currency

All prices are expressed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include VAT where applicable.
We reserve the right to change prices at any time prior to order confirmation.

6. Payments

Payments must be made in full upon checkout.
We do not store credit card information; payments are processed securely by PCI-DSS compliant payment processors.

7. Order Acceptance

Submitting an order constitutes an offer to purchase.
A binding contract is formed only when we issue an Order Confirmation via email.

We reserve the right to refuse, cancel, or limit orders due to:

  • risk of fraud,
  • stock unavailability,
  • regulatory reasons,
  • pricing errors or inaccuracies.

8. Software License Delivery

Software Licenses are delivered digitally via email to the email address provided at checkout.
Delivery timeframe:

  • within 24 business hours after payment confirmation (unless notified otherwise).

9. Software License Usage

Software Licenses are subject to the manufacturer’s End User License Agreement (EULA).
Customers must ensure compatibility before purchase.
SafeBit shall not be liable for:

  • hardware incompatibility,
  • unsupported operating systems,
  • incorrect versions ordered by the Customer.

10. Intellectual Property

All content on the Website and all intellectual property rights relating to Software Licenses remain:

  • the property of the respective manufacturers or
  • SafeBit (where applicable).

Unauthorized copying, resale, or distribution is prohibited.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SafeBit shall not be liable for:

  • indirect or consequential damages,
  • business interruption,
  • loss of data,
  • financial loss arising from use or inability to use the Product.

Nothing in these Terms limits liability for fraud, gross negligence, or intentional misconduct.

12. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
Disputes shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of South Africa.
